Facilitator
Jess Van Baalen is an artist and printmaker with a passion for exploring nature, folklore, and storytelling through her work. After graduating from Brighton University in 2022 with a degree in Illustration, Jess has focused on creating artwork that combines her love of the natural world with the timeless appeal of narrative and myth. Drawn to the tactile process of lino printing, she creates bold, textured work that celebrates landscape, cultural stories, and everyday magic.
Please Note
This workshop includes reference materials and discussion relating to mythology, folklore, and literature, some of which may explore mature or contentious themes. The session may also include reference to unclothed figures within an artistic and historical context. For this reason, participation is recommended for those aged 18+.
No experience is necessary, just bring your creativity and get ready to print your own festive designs. 🎄
