Real Ideas is comprised of multiple teams, each growing a specific area of practice in relation to our core themes: engaging people and communities; supporting creative businesses to start, grow and thrive; connecting children and young people with creative digital opportunities; working with individuals to develop pathways to positive futures; immersive innovation; place-based regeneration and consultancy. These areas of work are often delivered in our buildings, Market Hall and Devonport Guildhall (the Devonport Creative Quarter) and Liskeard Library.

Liskeard Library
Liskeard Library is a gorgeous Grade 2 listed Passmore Edwards library in the centre of Liskeard. It is leading the charge in keeping the love of books and reading alive. It has one of the hardest working book stocks in the county and library use is at a 10 year high! However, it is so much more than simply a place to borrow books - it’s a growing creative and community hub in the heart of town.

Market Hall
A vibrant hub for immersive experiences, learning, co-working and community, Market Hall brings world-class digital technology together with creativity and people.

Devonport Guildhall
A creative space for artists, makers and printmakers. Devonport Guildhall in Plymouth is home to artists' studios, print facilities, a year-round creative programme, artist residencies and Print in Action festival. We are interested in building community, creative practice development and creative intersection opportunities in collaboration with Market Hall's digital technologies.

Food & Drink Manager

Location: Working in the Devonport Creative Quarter

Salary: £32,000

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week primarily to be worked Monday – Friday, with some Saturday and evening working

The Food and Drink Manager manages and delivers Devonport Creative Quarter’s food and drink offer, supporting our programme, delivering excellent experiences and generating revenue. This is a ‘hands-on’ management role, and you will work alongside and oversee a small team of two part-time, permanent staff to deliver a 5 day per week food and drink offer from Tuesday to Saturday, based in the Market Hall.
