Immersive Creation and Performance with Live Musicians Workshop
Explore immersive creation and performance in this one of a kind workshop.
More Info:
To coincide with their Homeostasis performance at Market Hall, Ida Toninato & Pierre-Luc Lecours are offering the chance to explore immersive creation and performance in this one of a kind workshop.
Pierre-Luc Lecours and Ida Toninato form a duo that creates contemporary electronic music and immersive audio visual performances. Their artistic approach is defined by a continuous dialogue between electronic and acoustic elements, resulting in a natural, organic fusion that transcends traditional boundaries. Their audio visual works have been presented internationally, earning acclaim from both audiences and the media.
Aimed at digital artists, musicians, and students, this workshop will explore the challenges and strategies of integrating acoustic instruments (like the saxophone) and hardware electronics (modular synthesizers, real-time processing) in dialogue with a 360° video environment and spatial audio.
Ida Toninato & Pierre-Luc Lecours will break down their creative workflow, explain spatialization methods, and provide a short technical demonstration inside the immersive dome
Date: Monday 23rd November
Time: 2:30-4:30pm
