Connect to Work
Connect to Work is part of the Government’s plan to Get Britain Working and supports disabled people, people with health conditions and those with complex barriers into, or to remain in, employment.
What is Connect to Work?
In Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Connect to Work is delivered locally through People Hub.
People Hub is Cornwall Council’s employment, skills and support service, designed to help residents:
• Prepare for work
• Move into employment
• Progress and sustain work
• Access joined-up skills, health and wellbeing support
People Hub brings together multiple programmes, funding streams and delivery partners into a single, recognisable local service.
Am I Elegible?
You may be eligible if you:
- live in Cornwall
- are aged 18 and over, or 16 and over if you are not in education, employment or training
- not currently working, or your health condition puts your job at risk
- have a disability, health condition, or complex barrier affecting your ability to find or stay in work
- are motivated to find employment and want personalised support
