UN/VEIL: An Infinite Choral Soundbath
8th - 10th October. Step inside the Immersive Dome and experience an infinite choral composition moving around and above you. Listen, or add your own voice and hear it transformed and woven into the experience live.

What if a choir could sing forever - and your voice could change what happens next?
UN/VEIL is an interactive audiovisual installation combining human voices, spatial sound and responsive 360° visuals.
Speak, sing, hum or whisper into one of the microphones and your voice will be transformed and woven into the choral composition live, changing what everyone inside the Dome hears and sees. Each encounter is different.
There is no pressure to interact! You are equally welcome to listen, enjoy the soundbath or simply be present as the work unfolds around you. Visitors’ voices are not recorded or retained.
The installation is based on work by ILĀ and James GM with singers from London Contemporary Voices and their sister choirs across the UK. It grows from UN/BOUND which was presented at the Barbican in 2025 and selected as a finalist for the 2026 Lumen Prize Experiential Innovation Award.
Free circle-singing Workshops
Thursday 8 October at 2pm and 6pm
Join lead artist ILĀ and some singers from London Contemporary Voices for a welcoming one-hour workshop exploring the improvisation techniques used to create UN/VEIL.
No prepared music or previous singing experience is needed. Afterwards, you can preview the installation, try the microphones, meet some of the artists and discover how the work was made.
To book a workshop place, email info@lcvchoir.co.uk, stating whether you would prefer the 2pm or 6pm session.

Saturday 10 October - 3pm-6pm
Drop in for free and stay for as little or as long as you wish.
