11am–1pm
Join us at Market Hall for a relaxed and welcoming Tide Café, part of the Sea for Yourself programme exploring Plymouth's connection to the sea.
This free, drop-in event invites local people, artists and those with an interest in Plymouth's marine environment to come together over tea, coffee and cake to share stories, observations, questions and experiences about the tides and our coastline.
There are no presentations, lectures or specialist knowledge required. Whether you spend your time on the water, enjoy coastal walks, have memories connected to Plymouth's waterfront, or are simply curious about the sea, your perspective is part of the conversation.
The session will include contributions from artist David Cotterrell, whose new work Intertidal explores Plymouth's relationship with water, and journalist and former BBC weather presenter Emily Wood, who brings years of experience sharing stories about Plymouth's weather, coastline and tides.
Come for ten minutes or stay for the full session. Listen, share, ask questions and discover how Plymouth's tides shape the city we live in.
