Alongside Our Story with David Attenborough, join Art and Energy at Market Hall for a free drop-in event exploring the fascinating journey of water from Dartmoor's peatlands to the taps in our homes.
Discover how the high moors of Dartmoor help provide water for Plymouth, learn about the historic leats that have transported water for centuries, and explore the landscapes, heritage and engineering that make it all possible.
Saturday 22nd August
Drop in anytime between 11am – 2pm
Free to attend
Enjoy a range of hands-on activities for all ages, including:
- Exploring mosses with magnifiers
- Drawing and creative activities
- Water experiments and investigations
- Maps, local history and heritage
- Opportunities to learn, share stories and ask questions
There will also be the chance to talk with the Art and Energy team about Dartmoor's water, landscape and heritage, and to share your own knowledge and experiences.
Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
You are welcome to book a place in advance, or simply drop in on the day.
