24th September 6pm to 8.30pm: Carving Your Block

  • Linocut carving techniques

1st October 6pm to 8.30pm: Printing Your Artwork

  • Hand-printing your design
  • Exploring colour options
  • Finishing and presenting your prints

About the Facilitator

Jess Van Baalen is an artist and printmaker inspired by nature, folklore and storytelling. Since graduating from the University of Brighton in 2022 with a degree in Illustration, Jess has focused on combining the natural world with narrative and myth.

Drawn to the tactile process of lino printing, Jess creates bold, textured work that celebrates landscape, cultural stories and everyday magic.
