"Dopamine Hits Vol.1 is a collection of songs and pieces from the last seven years of my life. In amongst the rest of my job, (as a composer, conductor and orchestral arranger) these are the tracks I couldn’t escape from. They are a snapshot of my emotional and creative timeline."
Simon is an award-winning composer, orchestral arranger, producer, conductor and multi-instrumentalist. His work with London’s Parallax Orchestra has seen him conduct and arrange sell-out shows at the Royal Albert Hall with metal giants Bring Me The Horizon and Alter Bridge and record entire albums of his arrangements in Abbey Road Studio One with metal-core legends Architects.
His work with brass bands and wind orchestras has been performed worldwide and he has been the recipient of three British Composer of the Year awards (BASCA).
As a conductor, he has toured as guest conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and regularly undertakes conducting and artistic production duties with the world-famous Metropole Orkest in Amsterdam. He also works as a producer and performer having written the strings and brass for several UK number one albums and recorded trumpet and written strings on more than a hundred others.
Linus Fenton
Linus’ second solo album ‘Books, Pictures’ was recorded at Devon’s Middle Farm Studio with producer Peter Miles alongside musicians Soren Bryce (Tummyache), Rupert Cox (pianist for Benjamin Clementine) and Yuri Shibuichi (drummer for Honeyglaze).
The album features a mixture of songs and instrumentals, encompassing indie folk and experimental rock.
Linus is usually found playing bass in alternative/indie band Tummyache or as a session bass player for world-renowned acts such as Declan McKenna, Nina Nesbitt, Mystery Jets and many others.
