Devonport Guildhall Print Facility & Market Hall Dome
Enjoy a shared creative experience that combines hands-on printmaking with an immersive film journey.
Designed for families and small groups, Make & Immerse begins with a two-hour introduction to monoprinting at Devonport Guildhall's printmaking facility. You'll explore a playful and accessible printmaking process, creating your own unique artworks under the guidance of an experienced artist.
Following the workshop, take a short walk to Market Hall's 360° immersive dome and experience One Step Beyond, a spectacular film exploring humanity's next chapter in space exploration.
Monoprinting Workshop
Monoprinting is a printmaking technique that produces a single, unique image. Using ink, texture and mark-making, participants will experiment with creative processes and create original prints to take home.
Suitable for beginners, this workshop encourages creativity, exploration and making together.
Immersive Dome Screening: One Step Beyond

Embark on a journey beyond the Moon and towards Mars in this immersive film experience. Discover the challenges of life in space, the technology behind NASA's Artemis programme, and the future of human exploration as we prepare for our next giant leap into the cosmos.
Who It's For
This experience is designed for families and small groups looking to spend quality time together in a creative and engaging way. Suitable for different ages learning side by side, it offers an opportunity to try something new, support one another, and enjoy a memorable shared experience.
Children aged 6+ are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults are encouraged to take part fully in the workshop alongside children and young people.
