Print activities
Cyanotype – Sun printing (also known as cyanotype) is a photographic printing process that uses sunlight to create striking blue-and-white images.
Monoprinting – Monoprinting is a form of printmaking where you create a single, unique print. You apply ink or paint to a smooth surface and transfer it to paper, resulting in a one-of-a-kind artwork.
Gelli plate printing - Gelli plate printing is a versatile, beginner-friendly monoprinting technique that uses a reusable, gelatin-like plate. You apply acrylic paint or ink onto the surface, create patterns with textured objects or stencils, and press paper or fabric on top to transfer the unique, one-of-a-kind design
Dry point printing - Dry point is an intaglio printmaking technique where an image is scratched directly into a flat plate using a sharp, pointed tool. The process mimics drawing, but the scratches create raised "burrs" that catch ink, resulting in characteristically soft, velvety lines when printed.
