Discover the art of life drawing in these supportive, exploratory classes led by practicing artist Emily Chung. Across the series, you'll develop core skills in observing and drawing the human form—building confidence through guided exercises, structured lessons, and creative experimentation.

Whether you're completely new to figure drawing or looking to deepen your practice, these classes will help you see and draw with fresh eyes.

Who it’s for

Perfect for: Beginners, improvers, and anyone interested in learning to draw the human body with accuracy, expression, and curiosity.

No prior experience is needed. You'll leave with a collection of studies, new techniques, and a stronger understanding of how we look, interpret, and translate forms onto the page.

Facilitator

Emily Chung is a practicing artist working across drawing, painting, and performance. She holds an MLitt in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking from the Glasgow School of Art, and a Graduate Diploma in Art from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Her practice explores themes of work and the everyday, and she has exhibited across the UK. Emily has recently completed residencies at Ocean Studios and KARST X CAMP X AUP.
