Join Keith Wallis, host of The Piskie Trap podcast, and Elizabeth Dale, writer and creator of The Cornish Bird blog for their latest talk exploring legends in the Cornish landscape. Our Hosts

Elizabeth Dale

Elizabeth Dale is a writer, researcher, and storyteller who brings Cornwall’s heritage to life. She contributes to local newspapers, magazines, and online platforms, blending careful research with a love of the stories rooted in the Cornish landscape. Elizabeth works with Cornwall National Landscape, leading walks that explore history, myth, and legend, and she also guides trips with Heritage Adventures Cornwall and FalRiver Boats. Her media work includes BBC Radio 4’s The Wedding Detectives and appearances on ITV and Channel 5 programmes. In 2022, she received the Cornwall Heritage Trust’s Heritage Champion Award for her dedication to preserving local heritage.

Keith Wallis

Keith Wallis is host of The Piskie Trap - a podcast series exploring the folklore, history and legends from across Cornwall. His recent work has involved a number of collaborations with leading historians, writers, folklorists and storytellers, as part of a movement to preserve local folklore traditions, and to promote Cornish history and heritage.
