Join us for a fun and hands‑on clay workshop where you’ll create your very own pinch‑pot monster. This relaxed, creative session is perfect for children who enjoy playful making, exploring new materials, or simply want an inspiring, creative time — whether completely new to clay or already in love with sculpting.

What to Expect

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to shape a pinch‑pot from air‑dry clay before transforming it into a one‑of‑a‑kind creature using texture, character features, and simple sculpting techniques. You’ll be guided step‑by‑step through the process, with plenty of room to experiment, personalise, and let your imagination take over. Every monster will be totally unique, and you’ll leave with a finished piece ready to paint at home once dry.

The Clay Haven CIC is a welcoming community pottery studio in Liskeard — a place to slow down, get your hands muddy, and make something meaningful. This is their first workshop before their regular workshops start running from Unit B, The Cattle Market, Liskeard later in April.
