We're excited to welcome Nell Carroll Turner back to the Liskeard Library for her popular creative writing workshops. We have three separate workshops that can be bought in a bundle if you'd like to experience all three!
Saturday 28 March 10.30 – 12.45 Spring Forward
An uplifting, fun and practical creative writing workshop taking inspiration from the change in seasons and nature: light, energy and emergence. Using guided writing activities, we will gently explore ‘theme’ in writing.
Saturday 25 April 10.30 – 12.45 The Characters Playground
A playful and practical creative writing workshop looking at how to write engaging characters using guided activities and excerpts to inspire and encourage you.
Saturday 23 May 10.30 – 12.45 The Essence of Place
A fun and practical creative writing workshop looking at place and setting. Using guided writing activities and visual prompts, we will respond to places as moments in time and explore their meaning and importance within other aspects of writing.
Everyone welcome – no experience required! Over 18.
