Immersive learning for home-educating families

Join our monthly Home Education screenings and explore fascinating subjects through immersive film experiences inside our unique dome environment. Each session is carefully selected to spark curiosity, encourage discussion and support learning beyond the classroom.

Suitable for learners of all ages, these screenings provide an engaging opportunity for families to learn together and connect with other home-educating communities.

Available: Once per month during term time
Days: Tuesday to Friday
Time: 10am to 11am

Price: £5.25 per child (plus booking fee)
One accompanying adult attends free with each child.

Market Hall's unique 360° immersive dome provides a captivating sensory environment where learners can explore, discover and connect with content in new ways. Our carefully selected programme of sensory and immersive experiences is particularly well suited to children, young people and adults with additional needs, creating opportunities for engagement that go beyond traditional learning environments.

Whether supporting communication, wellbeing, sensory exploration or simply providing a shared experience in a welcoming setting, our dome offers a flexible and inclusive space that can be adapted to meet the needs of different groups.

Devonport Educational Tours & Film

Discover Devonport through a unique combination of guided learning and immersive film experiences. This educational tour brings local history, heritage and regeneration to life, helping learners understand how communities, industries and places evolve over time.

Ideal for students studying history, geography, politics, regeneration, urban development and social change.

Includes:

• Guided educational tour
• Immersive film experiences
• Exploration of heritage and innovation
• Discussions around place, identity and transformation

Duration: 2 hours
Available: Tuesday to Friday
Suitable for: A-Level and Post-16 students

Our Creative Careers Programme helps learners discover the wide range of opportunities available across the creative, digital and immersive sectors. Through encounters with professionals, real-world experiences and industry insights, participants gain a better understanding of future pathways and the skills employers value.

Activities can be tailored to support careers education, enrichment programmes and employability initiatives.
