Are Venues Accessible?

Market Hall

Market Hall is fully accessible – with a wheelchair-friendly entrance, lift access to upper floors, accessible toilets, and an accessible bar. 2 Blue badge parking bays are available at the rear on a building and are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Devonport Guildhall

Devonport Guildhall is accessible via the back of the building entrance – with lift access to upper floors as well as accessible toilets. If you require further assistance, please get in touch prior to your visit.

Liskeard Library

Liskeard Library is fully accessible with a lift to the first and second floors as well as accesible toilets on the ground floor and second floor.

Where is The Market Hall?

Market Way, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4PS

Getting to Market Hall is easy, and there’s plenty to enjoy once you arrive. Nearby parking is available at Mutton Cove, Granby Way, Duke Street and Brickfields, with limited on‑street parking on Duke Street and surrounding roads—please be mindful of residents and permit restrictions. Two electric car charging points are located at the rear of the building.

Devonport Station is around a 15‑minute walk away, with Plymouth Station slightly further in the city centre, and bus routes 14, 21, 21A, 34, 36, 112 and 806 all serve the area, stopping closest on Duke Street with additional stops on Chapel Street and Cumberland Road nearby.

Covered bike storage is available in the courtyard on the Duke Street side, and visitors can also plan time to visit the café, which offers a selection of lunch options, homemade cakes, and hot and soft drinks, perfect before or after your visit.

Where is The Devonport Guildhall?

You'll find us at Ker Street, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4EL. Nearby car parks include Mutton Cove, Granby Way, Brickfields, and limited on-street parking on Ker Street. We have a very small space for bike storage within the building under the main floor stairwell.

You can also catch the train to Devonport Station which is only 10 minutes walk.

There are also a great amount of bus routes that go through Devonport, you can find bus stops on Chapel Street and Cumberland Road, both a short walk from Devonport Guildhall.

Where is The Liskeard Library?

Barras Street, Liskeard, PL14 6AB

Liskeard Library is a 15-minute walk (0.6 Miles) from Liskeard Train Station.

The Liskeard Parade Bus Stop is located 50 yards from Liskeard Library and has connections Plymouth as well as to numerous local villages and towns. Numbers: 11/11A, 55, 73/73A, 74, 75, 77/77S, 78/78A, 452

Parking is available in Westborne Car Park, on West Street, PL14 6BW, which is ticketed and a short walk to Liskeard Library.

Are dogs welcome?

Market Hall

Dogs are welcome throughout Market Hall, except the Dome (however Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs are welcome inside the Dome).

We kindly ask they remain on lead and are well-behaved.

Devonport Guildhall

Dogs are welcome at the Guildhall, we kindly ask they remain on lead and are well-behaved.

Liskeard Library

We don't allow dogs into Liskeard Library other than service dogs. In order to maintain and promote a safe space we are not able to accommodate dogs in the Library building.
