What to expect

Over three hands‑on, creative sessions, you will explore:

  Create your own artwork using drawing, collage, or simple shapes to form the basis of your pattern.
• Building your repeat
  Learn beginner‑friendly techniques for turning your motif into a clean, seamless repeat.
• Screen‑printing fundamentals
  Set up your screen, apply ink, and pull a crisp hand print.
• Printing onto fabric
  Bring your pattern to life by hand‑printing it onto a piece of fabric.

Facilitator

Suzanne Drummond is a printer, artist, and maker specialising in screen printing. With a BA in Textile Design and an MA in Fine Art Printmaking, her work explores relationships between architecture, memory, and place.

Suzanne’s practice blends layered colour, transparency, and repetition, drawing inspiration from urban environments and the structures that shape them. Her methodical yet intuitive approach encourages careful looking and playful exploration.
