Devonport Guildhall Print Studio welcomes creatives with printmaking experience to apply for our Print Club Membership offer and join our print community.
Who is Print Club Membership for?
Print Club Membership is for Students, Graduates, Emerging Creatives through to Professional Printmakers who want access to a Print Studio facility.
If you have never printed before or have had a go but want to learn more, we suggest starting with one of our Intro to courses or our supported weekly morning sessions and print clubs.
We welcome printmakers to develop their practice, create new work, and become part of a thriving and supportive printmaking community.
How much does it cost?
Annual Membership fee 2025/2026:
£120.00 - Standard - Including VAT
£80 - Student/grad - Including VAT
£96.00 - Studio Holders membership - Including VAT

Open Access Offer
Printmakers can book time in the studio to work independently. This flexible access supports personal projects, creative development, editioning and experimentation with new techniques. On days when we have a technician available, see timetable below, printmakers will have access to a shop for inks, paper and consumables and general help with equipment if needed. On days when there is no technician available the studio will be supported by a member of staff, but the shop and technical assistance will not be available.

How Much Does a Session Cost?
Members can book print studio sessions through our online booking system.
Session Rates
- Day Session (4 hours): £10.00 + VAT
- Evening Session (3 hours): £10.00 + VAT
Sessions can be purchased individually, allowing you to book as and when you need access.
Studio Holder Discount
Studio holders receive a 20% discount on all session bookings.
Booking Information
Sessions are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking in advance wherever possible. If you need to cancel or postpone a session, please contact us as soon as possible.
What Do the Fees Cover?
Session fees contribute towards:
- Running costs of the print studio
- Technician support
- Cleaning materials and consumables
- Essential chemicals and sundries used in general printmaking processes
Technician Support
The print facility is typically overseen by a print technician during Open Access sessions, unless otherwise stated.
On days when a technician is not scheduled, the building will be opened and closed by Market Hall Café staff.
If you need to purchase materials or require assistance with equipment, the technician on duty will be happy to help. If no technician is available, please contact us before your visit with any material or equipment requirements so we can support you accordingly.
