Spoken Word & Poetry Night at The Liskeard Library! Headliner: Robbie Gillet and an optional theme of "End of a Chapter, Beginning of a New"

Description:

This spoken word night is built around the theme “End of a Chapter, Beginning of a New”, a reflection on change, growth and the moments where life quietly shifts direction.

Headlined by Robbie, the night centres on poems from End of Chapter 36, exploring endings that weren’t planned, beginnings that weren’t expected and the messy space in between.

Supporting poets are invited to interpret the theme in their own way, creating a layered evening of stories about closing doors, opening new ones.

This is an intimate, honest night of spoken word, focused on connection, reflection and the power of telling your story when everything feels like it’s changing.

Our Headliner

Robert Gillett "Beneath The Tracksuit"
Robbie is a spoken word artist, author, and MS advocate. Writing became his release after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 26. What started as survival turned into a voice that speaks through poetry, performance, and raw honesty.
