Kids & Teens Coding Club at Liskeard Library

Discover the fun side of technology!

Join us for a series of hands-on coding workshops where children and young people can explore game design, robotics, and creative coding in a friendly, supportive environment.

What will the kids do?

  • Micro:bits & Accessories
These are tiny computers kids can program to make lights flash, create games, or even build simple gadgets. It’s a great way to learn how technology works.
  • Scratch Coding
Scratch is a colorful, drag-and-drop coding tool that makes learning easy and fun. Kids can create animations, stories, and games without needing complicated code.
  • Coding & Scripting
Move beyond drag-and-drop coding and learn the basics of real programming languages and scripting. This helps kids understand how games, apps, and websites are built.
  • Roblox Game Creation Challenge
Design and customize games in Roblox Studio, a safe and creative way to learn real coding concepts while building interactive worlds.
  • Unreal Engine 5
Explore one of the most powerful professional game engines used in the industry to create stunning 3D environments. Perfect for teens who want to take their skills to the next level.
