Devonport Guildhall
RIO is transforming the Devonport Guildhall into a buzzing social enterprise hub and community centre for Devonport, Plymouth and the Southwest.
By working together with energetic and ambitious partners including CoastNet, Attik Dance and Chew TV, RIO will be able to provide space for everything from offices, performances and rehearsals to digital media classes and start-up support for young businesspeople. The main hall and meeting rooms will be available for hire and there will be a wide programme of events and activities running throughout the year.
Joining forces with Devon Contractors, GHK Architects and Midas, RIO is tapping into the specialist experience needed to overhaul and update this unique and historic building. By spring 2010 the renewal will be complete and the brand-new beautiful Guildhall will be unveiled.
